Welcome to Your Skin Journey! I’m Christina, Your Skin Nutritionist and integrative medical esthetician. I recently made Boulder, Colorado, my home after enjoying the city life of San Francisco and New York City. I hold a bachelor's degree in Communications from Santa Clara University and spent 18 years in the high-tech industry, working as a strategic corporate recruiter for Google, Salesforce, DocuSign, and Databricks. While I enjoyed the fast-paced environment of high -tech and loved helping individuals navigate their career transitions, my true passion and enthusiasm have always resided in skin health and wanting to make it a full-time career. In 2018, I decided to embrace my dream and enrolled in an evening program to obtain my esthetician license. I managed to work full-time in tech while getting my license and gaining hands-on experience at, MedEstheticsRx, a medical spa in San Francisco. Fast forward to 2024, I have moved cities and officially made the exciting leap of my full-time career pivot into esthetics. My philosophy: My philosophy on skin health is rooted in a holistic and medical approach. While my formal training began at the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics, it was my time at MedEstheticsRx that truly shaped my understanding of skin health. There, I learned that achieving beautiful skin is both a science and an art. I developed the skills to listen attentively, educate effectively, and diagnose various skin conditions—distinguishing between issues like rosacea and acne—and how to treat them effectively. My experiences and interests have also exposed me to diverse modalities of skin health, including Ayurvedic, holistic and traditional practices. This all-encompassing perspective shapes my belief in integrative esthetics, which considers the whole person and focuses on addressing the root causes of skin issues. My practice emphasizes education and empowerment, blending holistic methods with conventional esthetics and complementary modalities.
